About the Series
The Kingdom of Dragons is a series of epic fantasy novellas that usually cover one self-contained story each with the same set of main characters and their overarching development. They can be read alone, or in collections. These collections contain an overarching background story, usually involving the characters' emotional journeys.

The kingdom of Istamid is under the tyrannical rule of dragons, but there are still places where the dragons' presence isn't felt so strongly. One such place is the mountain village of Arlow. However, the residents of the village have problems of their own.

Namely, the violent snowstorms. Everyone aside from Rhenor seems to think that they will blow over and that they just have to wait it out, but Rhen suspects there is something more going on. His concerns fall on deaf ears until a stranger named Kaz shows up at his door, who not only believes Rhen, but also reveals an even bigger threat looming over Arlow—earthquakes.

Despite Rhen's reservations about how Kaz knows this, the two embark on a quest to put a stop to whatever is causing all of this and save Arlow before it becomes nothing but rubble.

After their escape from Istamid, Kaz, Rhenor, and Elaya make their way to an archipelago. Here they hope to find human settlements where they can secure transport back to the kingdom and possibly also get help with the situation back home.
But the reality turns out to be very different from what they expected, and their welcome to these new, strange lands is anything but warm. With an ever-present hate for dragons, a stranger following Elaya, and a dark plot brewing, the trio must do everything in their power to survive everything the isles have in store for them before they can even think of how to return to Istamid.
